Michael checks out the LED testing on the scoreboard at Coors Field. The view of the mountains to the North is grand.

After a grueling 12-hour drive from Red Oak, TX to the Mile High City that started on Sunday and ended on Monday we're finally here to pick up the tarted-up Gamer. We went to Timeless on Monday morning to see her progress and make sure nothing had been forgotten. Something had, so it's a good thing we booked our hotel through Wednesday.

The Crawford is travel-themed - of course. One wall in our suites is decorated with wooden hangars from hotels around the US. The centerpiece however is from my hometown of Montreal.

We're staying at the Crawford Hotel which is in the renovated train station downtown. It's great and even better that it's two blocks away from Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies. Despite being punchy from the long drive and the short rest afterward Michael and I took in a tour of the yard because baseball and why can't spring training get here already?
